Caring for your Living Timber piece

Timber is a beautiful and natural material with ever changing character, grain detail and colour.

Timber will expand and contract, especially in warmer climates and locations that change temperature frequently. With this being said, choose a final destination for your piece that has no contact with liquids / moisture and keeping direct / reflective sunlight to a minimum.

Furniture should always be placed where it has protection from the outdoor elements.

Maintenance

  • Do not leave spills to sit on the timber surface, immediately wipe off until dry
  • Clean with a soft, dry cloth regularly to remove dust and fine particles.
  • Never place cold or hot items directly on the timber surface
  • Do not use cleaning agents that have harsh chemicals on the timber surface (alcohol products etc)
